ABOUT

Committed Care Housing provides bespoke Supported Accommodation for young people aged 16 and above, offering a safe, structured, and nurturing environment where they can develop the skills needed to live independently. We offer both short and long-term placements, including planned and emergency admissions, which are carefully reviewed to ensure we can meet each young person’s individual needs safely and effectively. Our experienced management team works closely with referring agencies and partner organisations to assess every young person and create personalised support plans that promote stability, growth, and independence. We are committed to helping young people overcome challenges related to emotional needs, behavioural difficulties, and mild learning disabilities, providing access to the right services, guidance, and opportunities to help them build confidence, resilience, and the practical life skills necessary for a successful transition into adulthood.

 SERVICES

Committed Care Housing operates with a strong ethos, clear values, and consistent boundaries that work together to provide a safe, structured, homely, and nurturing environment for vulnerable young people aged 16 and above. Our accommodation is designed to support those who are transitioning towards independence and striving for social and economic sustainability as they prepare for adult life. We recognise that every young person’s journey is unique, which is why our flexible and person-centred approach is tailored to address a wide range of needs, including those who are looked after, subject to Voluntary, Interim, or Full Care Orders, or young people under bail or remand conditions requiring accommodation upon release. At Committed Care Housing, we offer practical and emotional support to help young people re-engage with education, access training, and pursue employment opportunities, particularly for those who may have experienced disruptions in their learning or personal development. Our goal is to empower young people to build confidence, develop essential life skills, and achieve long-term stability and success. We are fully committed to supporting the young people of the future, ensuring they have the guidance, encouragement, and opportunities needed to reach their full potential..

At Committed Care Housing, we understand that not all young people begin their journey in life with the same opportunities or support, and we are dedicated to bridging that gap by providing a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment where every young person can thrive. We believe that all young people are entitled to guidance, stability, and opportunity, and through our non-judgemental, person-centred approach, we strive to build positive and trusting relationships that promote growth and self-belief. Each young person we support receives a tailor-made support plan designed to meet their individual needs, goals, and aspirations. These plans focus on developing essential life skills, improving confidence, and encouraging responsibility — all of which help prepare them for independent living and successful integration into adult life. Throughout their time with us, we work to create or rebuild a strong foundation that enables each young person to progress towards higher levels of independence, resilience, and long-term stability. By teaching vital life skills and encouraging positive decision-making, we aim to equip young people with the knowledge and ability to secure and maintain permanent accommodation, empowering them to build brighter and more sustainable futures.

At Committed Care Housing, we take great pride in our robust, diverse, and highly skilled team, who provide continuous 24-hour support to young people aged 16 and over within our supported accommodation. Our dedicated Keyworkers play a vital role in guiding and empowering young people as they learn essential life skills and transition towards independent living. Each Keyworker works in a non-judgemental, compassionate, and person-centred way, offering tailored support that encourages growth, responsibility, and resilience. We understand that some young people may present complex emotional or behavioural needs, often shaped by past or ongoing trauma, and our team is fully trained to respond with empathy, structure, and professionalism. To ensure the highest quality of support, our staff undertake regular CPD (Continuing Professional Development) training throughout the year, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to manage challenging behaviours, safeguard young people, and provide effective crisis intervention when needed. Our Keyworkers are trained in essential areas including Safeguarding, Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) and Child Criminal Exploitation (CE), Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression (PMVA), Mental Health Awareness, Equality and Diversity, Trauma-Informed Practice, Health and Fire Safety, and Online Safety Awareness. This comprehensive training ensures that our team can provide a safe, nurturing, and professional environment, where every young person receives the right level of support to achieve independence and a brighter, more stable future.

TRUST AND SECURITY

At Committed Care Housing, our placements are designed to provide a safe, stable, and nurturing haven for young people aged 16 and over, where they can truly feel heard, valued, and supported. We recognise that many of the young people we work with have faced significant challenges in their lives, and our goal is to create an environment where they can express themselves freely, without fear of judgment or discrimination. Our placements offer more than just accommodation—they provide a sense of belonging, consistency, and emotional safety, forming the foundation for positive change and personal growth. Within this supportive environment, young people are encouraged to explore their interests, develop essential life skills, and build the confidence needed to transition successfully into independent living. Our experienced and compassionate staff work closely with each young person, offering individualised support, structure, and encouragement to help them overcome barriers and achieve their personal goals. We understand that trust takes time to build, especially for those who may have experienced instability or trauma, which is why we take a person-centred and trauma-informed approach, ensuring that every young person’s voice is heard and their experiences are respected. Through consistent care, positive role modelling, and open communication, we help young people develop resilience, responsibility, and self-worth. Our placements are not just about providing shelter—they are about creating a safe space for healing, growth, and empowerment, where young people can rediscover their potential and prepare confidently for the future.
